Ali Fazal, Nakuul Mehta And Others Support Shah Rukh Khan Amid Byju's Row
Shah Rukh Khan got support from several celebrities, including Nakuul Mehta, Ali Fazal, and Anjana Sukhani, after it was reported that ed-tech company Byju’s paused all advertisements featuring him in the wake of the ongoing investigation against his son Aryan Khan in a drug bust case.

The ed-tech company reportedly decided to stop all ads featuring the actor, who has been its brand ambassador since 2017, following criticism on social media.

Seemingly, this decision has upset TV actor Nakuul Mehta, who is known for his wit and sense of humour. He tweeted, "Being replaced by the serving minister whose son is arrested for murder charges! Class, Byju's." Here, he refers to another ongoing investigation - against the son of a politician.

Actress Anjana Sukhani tweeted, “Dear brands, @iamsrk’s popularity, reach and charm is irreplaceable, the value he brings to the table as King Khan is way above the tragedy he is currently facing... Don’t underestimate the power of the love his fans and admirers have for him across the globe and beyond.”

Ali Fazal wrote, “By‘e’ju… Another brick in the wall - playing out rather loudly in my headphones today.” The lyrics go: “We don’t need no education…” Here, he made a reference to Pink Floyd’s iconic song. His tweet was retweeted by Richa Chadha.

Apart from these actors, Rohit Ohri, group chairman at creative ad agency FCB India also criticised Byju’s action.

Byju's has meanwhile not announced if they have dropped SRK as a brand ambassador altogether.

The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested SRK's son Aryan Khan after a raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. A court rejected his bail application on Friday, on the ground that it was not maintainable.
